Birthday parties are great fun. They are also a great opportunity to get creative and to have a themed party.

Here are four birthday party ideas.

  1. Have a costume party. This is probably the most popular type of party, as it appeals to people of all ages. There are plenty of costume shops around the place, or you could make your own.  Costumes can be inexpensive to buy, and could then come in handy for Halloween. This can be fun for parents too, as adults love expressing themselves and a costume party with sexy costumes is a great opportunity for them to do this.
  2. If you have a teenage party, a defensive driving workshop could be a good idea. Teenagers may be taught Drivers Ed in school, but it doesn’t hurt to have additional training. Think of how you and all those other parents that will have peace of mind knowing your teenager has done a defensive driving workshop.
  3. A party revolving around the first letter of the birthday boy or girls name is a cute idea. For example for the letter A, you could have an apple bobbing competition. For the letter B, everyone invited could bring a funny baby picture of themselves. The sky is the limit on the ideas for this one.
  4. Does the birthday boy or girl love something in particular? Maybe a friend with a birthday coming up loves the direct.tv reality television show The Hills, or maybe giraffes are a favorite, or another kind of hobby. Having a party with a theme revolving around one of the person’s favorite things will add a personal touch to the party whilst still being fun.
